Since his release Seven has not allowed his past to be neither crutch nor badge of honor, he is very active in the community as well as the Detroit Music & Film industries. The Detroit emcee first starred in and co-produced the now infamous crime documentary Detroit Murder City Film, which is, now stored in Michigan collegiate library’s as a reference tool for Criminal Justice courses. Seven the General continues to build his acting resume along with his music experience, he has worked and wrote on a wide range of successful projects including R&B Detroit native K’Jon’s #1 Billboard charting album “I Get Around”, Bizarre “Friday Night at St. Andrews”, J Dilla’s “Dillatroit”LP, Multi-Platinum D12’s Return of the Dozen Vol. 2 as well as Esham’s independent film soundtrack “Death of an Indie Label”.
